Being pro active is the most important key to saving money by using your Solar PV free electricity at the right time.
When your Solar PV array is producing electricity you should be using it, it's free and your getting paid the Feed-In-Tariff rate for producing it ( remember you get paid per kilowatt hour regardless of if you use it or not) So while your producing and using it to run your washing machine for instance, your not buying the electricity from your supplier.
The Solar monitors are a must for monitoring what your array is producing at any one time.
